3D Imaging Technologies to Facilitate Pediatric Treatment Planning
The goal of this VIP is to develop novel imaging paradigms that can be used to construct anatomically detailed 3D printed replicas of musculoskeletal tissues, urinary tract organs and cardiovascular organs. These 3D models will enable pediatric surgeons to better design strategies for reconstructing functional tissues and organs for their patients. Ultimately, the information will be used to create regenerative medicine approaches to produce devices that grow as the child grows.
